12/2/10 OpenLink Networking and Charity Event Sponsors
On December 2, 2010 a number of Raleigh professionals and Triangle business owners came together to connect and support a local charity. The 2nd Annual OpenLink Networking and Charity Event was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Raleigh. Over 200 people registered to support of the Food B ank of Central and Eastern North Carolina by bringing a food donation as the cost of admission to this event. Once inside, attendees gathered to make new connections, reestablish old ones and search for new opportunities.
Last year this event collected and delivered 425 lbs of food for the Food Bank. This year, generosity was not absent. Food donations totaled 745 lbs! The largest donation was made by GoldLink sponsor Jason's Deli. Thank you to all of our sponsors that helped make this event happen. These businesses saw an opportunity to support a local charity and bring together people that can help the local economy all while gaining more exposure for their business.
