Raleigh, NC, November 2, 2010 –  Today, Linking Raleigh, NC opened its event page for the Second Annual OpenLink™ Holiday Networking and Charity Food Drive.  Linking Raleigh, NC is continuing to give back to the community with this free event to be held on December 2, 2010 from 6-9 pm.  Linking Raleigh, NC and its event partner, the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Raleigh, are gearing up for another opportunity that puts the spotlight on “Face to Face” networking and is helping the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina with stocking their food pantry for the winter.

With the help of event sponsors, the attendees will have the opportunity to network with other local professionals and business owners while enjoying the festive Holiday atmosphere of the Sheraton Hotel. This is a great charitable networking opportunity for those 10,000 members that make up Linking Raleigh, NC to help families in need across the 35 counties of North Carolina that the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina serves.

Last year this event was attended by over 225 local professionals and business owners. Attendees brought 425 pounds of food that was then donated to the Food Bank. That amount of food can create up to 350 meals. This year we are asking attendees to contribute even more by bringing their non-perishable foods to the event on the evening of December 2.
